Mimark Recognizer
Mimark (representing “M”edical “I”nformation mark) is a watch designed for children to replace medic alert bracelets. The aptly named “recognizer” contains a simple 3 function digital time-piece coupled with a unique QR code concealed on the strap. In the event of a child getting lost or into a medical emergency, the QR code can be easily located and revealed on the wearers wrist (in the same manner as a conventional medic alert bracelet would be). Once scanned with a smart phone the first responder will be sent vital information including emergency contacts and any medical conditions. Procreate designed this product from a philosophy through to a tangible solution and all the avenues of development in between.
