RENOVO | WASP STATION

Procreate was approached by Renovo Technologies (Hawkeye) to develop a container to be used as a Wasp Lure Trap.  Renovo Technologies develops and manufactures professional insecticides for pest controllers in New Zealand and Australia.  A number of their new products are based on using natural products to achieve control of pests which were previously in the domain of synthetic chemicals.

What appears to be a simple container is far from it. There are a number of features in the shape to ensure the wasps are attracted to the container and remain trapped once inside. The container was required to nest well together to maximise efficiency in transportation.

Procreate worked with a local manufacturer at the request of Renovo as they wanted to keep shipping costs down and support other New Zealand businesses.
